We had started the process with another agent, a "friend" of mine, who turned out to be a real dog when it came to helping us find a house. When we finally found the house of our dreams, it became apparent that our first agent was doing more harm than good in the negotiation process. Abel was local to our area, and was with the agency that had listed the house we wanted to buy. Despite the fact that Abel only got half of the commission that he should have (my first agent negotiated a "fee" when we let him go from the process), he went well above and beyond to get things done and help us get into our house.
